So blessed!

God continues to bless us in 2010, and in November Phil was named the head football coach at Helias Catholic High School! It is a dream come true for him as this is our alma mater and so exciting for our families to be able to watch him do something that he truly loves! He has some very big shoes to fill following in the footsteps of great coaches like Ray Hentges, Mike Jeffries, and Chris Hentges but he is up for the challenge and we are so proud of him! :) Go Crusaders!

Baby Girl Pitts

In August of 2010 Phil and I found out we are expecting our first child around May 2nd, 2011 and it will be a girl! We are so excited as are our families! This is the first grandchild for my parents as well as Phil's parents so I am sure she will definitely be spoiled beyond belief! She isn't due until May and she already has been given gifts galore! This picture is of our 20 week ultrasound and you can see that she is busy sucking her thumb already! :) I have been feeling great throughout the pregnancy and we can't wait to meet her in May!

Dad and Mom Pitts

Phil and Patti........they are wonderful! Ready and willing to do anything for us when we ask from coming over to let Gus out, to cleaning up a leak in our garage, to working on our AC, to buying us fire alarms and carbon monoxide detectors for our house. Phil works very hard for the Dept of Conservation and Patti is retired from working for The Division of Child Services. Patti is a great cook too and we are always going over there for birthday dinners. They have raised 3 very awesome children that is for sure!

Mom and Dad Celebrate 30 Years!

Phil and I, Leslie, and Nick threw a surprise 30th wedding anniversary party for our parents on Saturday, August 8th! Donna's help was most appreciated too! They were definitely surprised so we pulled it off! It was at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jefferson City and we invited about 100 or so family members and friends. This is a picture of most of their wedding party! We had snacks, cake, beer, music, dancing, and karaoke. The next day we had a blessing at St. Martins Church for them. We also put an announcement in the News Tribune for them! It was the least we could do for all the sacrifices they have made for us throughout the years! They are great parents!

Gus is 1 year old!

Gus turned 1 on April 3rd! He is almost finished with his first 6 weeks of doggie training at PetCo and he is a fast learner!

Phil's Siblings: Andrew & Katie Pitts

Andrew is 25. He graduated from Truman State in Kirksville, MO with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Sports Management and he also played football and baseball while he was there. He currently works at Helias High School as a science and biology teacher and a football and baseball coach.

Katie is 18 and she attends Truman State in Kirksville, MO where she is majoring in Physical Therapy and playing softball. She is currently dating John Fandrey who is pictured above.

Leslie & Mike

My sister is currently dating Mike Henderson. He also works at State Farm and that is how they met. What a cute couple!
